ReTHUS · authorisation to practise
We check Colombia’s National Registry of Health Professionals (ReTHUS, run by the Ministry of Health through SISPRO) to confirm the registered profession and specialty. There is no automatic connection today: the check is manual, and we record who did it, when, the source and the result.
REPS · provider, location and service
Not every doctor has their own entry in REPS (the Special Registry of Health Providers). If you practise within a healthcare institution (IPS), we check that the institution, the location and the service are registered. If you are an independent professional, we check your registration as a provider. The current licensing framework is Resolution 3100 of 2019 and its amendments. Resolution 1732 of 2026 was revoked by Resolution 2080 of 2026.

Only profiles that are approved or under periodic review are published. If a profile is suspended, it is removed from the directory immediately.
Badges explain what was checked and when. They are not a government endorsement or a guarantee of clinical quality, and they never depend on the plan purchased. Identity documents and private supporting files are never published.
