Version 0.2 · draft pending legal review. Effective 28 October 2026. This is a courtesy translation: if it differs from the Spanish version, the Spanish version prevails.
These terms govern the use of the citaltiva.com.co site and of Citaltiva’s services by visitors, patients and health professionals. By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
1. Who we are
Citaltiva is a brand of Pempol Pay Inc (registration number, country and registered address [to be completed]), the company that develops and owns this site, operating in Medellín, Colombia. In these terms, “Citaltiva” means Pempol Pay Inc. Citaltiva is a technology platform providing administrative and marketing services that connects patients with health professionals. Contact: gerencia@citaltiva.com and administrative WhatsApp +1 786 461 5951.
2. Citaltiva does not provide health services
- Citaltiva is not a healthcare provider (IPS), a health insurer (EPS) or an insurance company, and it does not diagnose, prescribe or give medical advice through any channel.
- Care is provided exclusively by each professional, under their own responsibility and conditions.
- Educational prevention content is general, is approved by a professional before publication and does not replace a consultation.
- In an emergency in Colombia, call 123 or go to the nearest emergency department.
3. Directory and verification of professionals
Professionals provide the information in their profiles. Before publishing a profile, Citaltiva checks the professional’s ReTHUS registration and, where applicable, their REPS registration, following the procedure described in How we verify profiles. This review is document-based, is carried out on a specific date and is not a certification of the quality of care. The order of results is not a medical recommendation.
4. Appointment requests
Once this feature is available, an appointment request will be an administrative request sent to the chosen professional; it is not a confirmed appointment. Confirmation, price, coverage by your insurer or plan and cancellation conditions are set by each professional or practice. Do not include symptoms or clinical information in the forms.
5. Subscribed professionals
Monthly and annual subscriptions, digital presence and social media management, and paperwork support for insurer and prepaid health plan applications are also governed by the Terms for subscribed professionals and the Ethical medical advertising guidelines. No plan guarantees patients, income, directory rankings, ratings or approval by an insurer or prepaid health plan company.
6. Permitted use
You agree to use the site in good faith. You may not:
- Provide false information or impersonate another person or professional.
- Post fake, paid or incentivised reviews (see the Reviews policy).
- Extract directory data in bulk or by automated means, or use it to send advertising.
- Attempt unauthorised access, or compromise the security or operation of the site.
- Use the site for unlawful purposes or purposes contrary to medical ethics.
7. Intellectual property
The citaltiva brand, logo, design, text and software of the site belong to Citaltiva or its licensors. You may view them and share links for personal use, but you may not copy, modify or exploit them commercially without written authorisation. The text and photos of each profile belong to the respective professional, who warrants that they hold the rights to publish them.
8. Third-party links and services
The site links to third-party services such as WhatsApp, the public ReTHUS and REPS lookups and professionals’ own websites. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and Citaltiva is not responsible for their content or availability.
9. Availability and liability
We aim to keep the site running continuously and its information accurate, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or reasons beyond our control. To the extent permitted by law, Citaltiva is not liable for health decisions made based on the site’s content, for the professional acts of the doctors in the directory, or for damage arising from misuse of the site. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under Colombia’s Consumer Statute (Law 1480 of 2011) when you act as a consumer.
10. Personal data and cookies
The processing of your data is governed by the Privacy Policy and the use of cookies by the Cookie Policy. You can change your choice in Cookie settings.
11. Requests, complaints and claims
Write to us at gerencia@citaltiva.com. We reply within 15 business days at most, except where data protection law sets special time limits.
12. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the current version is the one published on this page with its date. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia, and any dispute will be handled by the competent authorities of Medellín, without prejudice to consumer rights.
Pending legal review: corporate details, liability regime, right of withdrawal and payment reversal for plans sold electronically, and consistency with the subscription contracts.
